Tinoto

When you ask the typical Filipino to name a dish with taro leaves, for sure they will mention first the Bicolano specialty Laing, which also has gata (coconut milk) as an essential ingredient.
Very few know that Quezon province has its own version of laing, called tinoto. The main ingredients are dried taro leaves and coconut milk as well.
