Squid Sisig

Sisig is a dish that is typically the grilled parts of a pig’s head and liver.

One modern variation is to use squid instead of pork. As with all sisig dishes, it is served on a sizzling hot plate.

A further indulgence is to top the dish off with an egg or two.

The Tagalog word for “squid” is pusit.
