Pindang Damulag

Pindang Damulag is a Kapampangan delicacy… what the Tagalogs might refer to as Tosinong Kalabaw… Tocino is the Filipino term for any cured meat.
Into English, pindang damulag has been translated as Carabeef or Cara-beef, i.e., the meat of the carabao, which is the domestic water buffalo of the Philippines.

* For those not familiar with the OMGpeke scandal… there is a company in the United States that has been pirating brand names and even the oval logo of Magnolia ice cream. Many Filipino Americans have been duped into thinking that the Pampanga’s Best they buy in California is somehow related to the one they know from the old country. It is not… More blatantly, that company Ramar has been using the iconic Magnolia brand and logo for its ice cream, and most Filipino Americans are not even aware that it is unrelated with San Miguel in the Philippines.
