Kikiam

Spelled kikyam in conservative Tagalog orthography. Also as que-kiam. This Filipino word and the snack is Chinese in origin.
Kekiam (another spelling variation!) is like a fried meatloaf sandwich.
How to make it? Mix ground pork and vegetables like onions, carrots, and garlic; then wrap the mixture in tawpe (bean-curd sheets) and deep-fry until golden. You can serve kikiam with a sweet-and-sour or some other type of sauce.
