Baye-Baye

A delicacy from the Visayas region.

Baye-baye is made from grated young coconut that is mixed with either ground corn kernels or ground pinipig (young rice), then formed into patties.

This specialty is associated with Pavia in Iloilo and Dumaguete in Negros Oriental, among other areas.
