Scientific name: Ipomoea aquatica

Kangkong is a popular vegetable in the Philippines. It’s been called “water spinach” or “swamp cabbage” in English because it grows in water.

Ensaladang Kangkong

 
Himayin ang kangkong. Kunin ang mga dahon at sangang mura. Hugasang mabuti at ilaga sa isang basong tubig. Kapag nalanta na ay hanguin at ilagay sa isang pinggan. Lagyan ng kaunting asin, sibuyas, bawang, kamatis, hiniwang itlog, sukang may kaunting matamis o pigaan kaya ng kalamansi.
