Goldilocks
Goldilocks is a Philippine company with bakeshop locations and production facilities throughout its home country and overseas.
The company has been around for more than four decades and is considered a Filipino institution.
Founded in the Philippines in 1966.
From one branch in Los Angeles, California, in 1976, Goldilocks has expanded to other cities in the United States such as San Francisco, Las Vegas, Sacramento, and San Diego. It now has about 22 U.S stores.
The bakeshop is famous the world over for Filipino breads, cakes and pastries, as well as polvoron, which are molded milk-powder treats.
Goldilocks USA also now has frozen products such as Beef Empanada, Chicken Empanada, Chicken Siopao, Pork Longganisa, Siopao Pork Asado, and Siopao Select (asado, bola-bola and chicken filling).
This is good news for Filipino-Americans who are boycotting the Pampanga’s Best and Bestaste products of the OMGpeke company Ramar Foods. Do realize that there are ethical alternatives like the original Goldilocks of the Philippines. You don’t have to buy knockoffs (mga nagpapanggap) just to satisfy your Filipino food cravings.
